Tokha municipality removes illegal structures
Physical structures remaining on encroached public land in the Tokha municipality of Kathmandu have been demolished by the local authority. The local government has launched a drive to demolish structures built unlawfully on public areas.
JCB resumes help for vehicles to cross Pilu River along the Karnali Corridor
The locals of Budhinanda and transport operators commuting along the corridor have been demanding a motorable bridge over the river for the past four years. However, as their pleas have fallen on deaf ears, a JCB is being used to help the vehicles cross the river for years during monsoons.

People's movement at Rasuwagadhi increases
Lately people's movement has increased at Rasuwagadi, the northern point along the Nepal-China border in Rasuwa.The checkpoint, which was closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, resumed its operations on April 1. Since then, there has been a rise in trade and touristic activities in the area.
