According to spokesperson of the Office of the President, Shailaja Bhattarai, President Paudel appointed Yadav as Health and Population Minister while Hasina Khan as State Minister for Health and Population as per Article 76 (9) of the Constitution following the recommendation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

Fire incidents cause 26 deaths in a month, Baisakh probably reports highest cases first time
