Kathmandu, May 13: Lawmakers in the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, have stated that only by observing parliamentary decorum will the dignity of the parliament increase.
Speaking during the urgent session of the NA meeting today, they urged the government to respond to the questions raised regarding the joint sitting of the Federal Parliament.
MP Padam Bahadur Pariyar drew the attention of NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, saying it would be suitable to advance the discussions on the government's policies and programmes in the presence of the Prime Minister.
MPs Suresh Alemagar and Roshani Meche emphasised that parliamentary decorum must be observed by all sides.(RSS)
