Death toll rises to four

By Ganesh Khanal, Arghakhanchi, May 12: The number of death in the Arghakhanchi bus accident have rose to four. A bus today met with an accident at Durgaphant Kudule of Panini-8 in Arghakhanchi. 

According to the District Police Office, two died on the spot, and two others died in the course of treatment. 

The deceased who died during treatment at the Arghakhanchi has been identified as 78-year-old Ram Maya Basnet of Pokhara Metropolitan City-19 of Kaski district. The identity of another deceased who died during treatment has yet to be ascertained. 

"The bus (Ga 1 Dha 504) from Parbat was returning from a pilgrimage to the Supa Deurali, a religious site, in Arghakhanchi. Of the injured, 20 are receiving treatment at Palpa, and six are in the  Arghakhanchi Hospital," said Chief of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Diwas Bahadur GC.
