Harka Raj Rai relieved from post of HoR secretary

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 12: President Ramchandra Paudel has dismissed Harka Raj Rai from the post of secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The President released Rai from his post on the recommendation of the Speaker of the HoR Dol Prasad Aryal on May 11. 

According to the press release issued by the Spokesperson of the Office of the President, Ritesh Kumar Shakya,  Rai has been removed from the post as per the  Remuneration, Conditions of Service, and Facilities Act, 2075, of the Secretary General of the Federal Parliament, the Secretaries of the House of Representatives (HoR), and the National Assembly

The decision will come into effect from May 12.
