Fire guts 13 houses in Banke

By Gajendra Gurung, Khajura, April 28: Fire has gutted 13 houses and sheds in Narainapur Rurual Municipality , ward no. 13 of Banke district. The 13 structures including 9 huts and 4 sheds were completely damaged.

Ganesh Raj Upreti, Police Inspector of Nepal police at the local police post, Bhagwanpur, informed the incident took place at Narainapur Rural Municipality-3, Gegli.

According to Upreti, 13 houses including 9 huts and 4 sheds were damaged by fire. He said that a loss of rice, dal, clothe had been witnessed but no human casualty.

The incident took place around 4:50 am on Tuesday, he added. 

One fire brigade from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan and one from Narainapur Rural Municipality had been mobilized to take the control over the fire flame.   

According to his information, the fire was taken under control in coordination of local police office, Bhagwanpur, Armed Police Force, locals and swift response fire brigades. 

Inspector Upreti said that the details of cause and impact of damage is being carried out.
