Kathmandu, March 27: Nepal Police have arrested 14 persons in possession of illegal drugs from different parts of the country during their routine patrol.
The drug peddlers were nabbed on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the Central Police News Desk, Rakki Kumar Yadav, 29, a resident of Siraha Municipality-8, was arrested from City Heaven Hotel at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, Narsingh Chowk, Thamel, with brown heroin.
Similarly, a person was arrested with pollen from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, New Bazaar Fruit Square.
Police held a drug smuggler in possession of brown heroin from Mechi Bridge, Bhadrapur Municipality-5, a suspect from Gularia Municipality-11, Ganeshpur, a person from Lahan Municipality-3, and two from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-18, Beljhundi. It has been reported that one person was apprehended from Lamkichuha Municipality-6, Bagmara, Kailali; two from Belauri Municipality-8, Pachui, Kanchanpur; two with Tramadol and Spaspen tablets from Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-16, Panityanki, and two with 17 kilograms of cannabis from Bridge, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-20, Bishnupaduka.
