EC submits HoR election report to President

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 19: The Election Commission, Nepal, has submitted its report about the election of the members of the House of Representatives held on March 5 to President Ramchandra Paudel.

Officiating Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari submitted the report amidst a special function at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.

On the occasion, President Paudel expressed happiness over the successful holding of the election by working day and night with full devotion, mind and action in the difficult and complex situation.

 He thanked all including the EC, government employees for the success of the HoR poll.

President Paudel viewed that the holding of the election has strengthened democracy while enhancing confidence electoral system and the EC and that the EC has played its role very successfully by holding the HoR Election in a free, fair and impartial environment.
