Shram Sanskriti Party Chair Rai elected HoR member from Sunsari-1

Sanskriti Party Harka Raj Rai (Sampang) has been elected the member of the
House of Representatives (HoR) from Sunsari Constituency-1, securing 35741
votes against his closet rival Goma Tamang of Rastriya Swatantra Party who got
27,249.
According to office of the returning officer of
Sunsari-1, 87,471 votes were cast in the HoR election held on March 5.
Surya Bahadur Bhattarai of Nepali Communist Party
got 6,185 while Tikaram Limbu of CPN (UML) got 6463 and NC's Sujendra Tamang
got 3970.
