Kathmandu, March 8: A total of 91 candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been elected to the House of Representatives. According to the results as of 5:30 am today, the RSP candidates are also leading in an additional 34 constituencies.
According to the Election Commission, the result of the 117 constituencies that have been made public so far and the Nepali Congress has won 13 constituencies and is leading in another three. The CPN (UML) has won in seven constituencies and is leading in four constituencies.
Likewise, four candidates from the Nepali Communist Party have won so far and are leading in three constituencies. Similarly, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and independent candidates have won one constituency each. Similarly, three candidates from the Shram Sanskriti Party are leading in the vote count.
Meanwhile, in the proportional representation (PR) system of the election held on March 5, 1.9 million votes have been counted. According to the latest count, the RSP has so far received 1.3 million votes, the Nepali Congress has received 330,728 votes, the CPN (UML) 263,582 votes, and the Nepali Communist Party 115,191 votes.
