RSP's Bhandari wins from Kavre-2
Dhulikhel, March 7: Badan Kumar Bhandari of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the election to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kavre constituency no. 2 with a wide margin of 35,476 votes.
According to Chief Returning Officer Prem Prasad Neupane, Bhandari secured 53,344 votes.
Bhandari's nearest rival Madhu Prasad Acharya got 17,868 votes, while CPN (UML)'s candidate Ashok Kumar Byanju secured 13,940 votes.
Likewise, candidate of Nepali Communist Party Basundhara Humagain managed 8,107 votes in the vote counts completed today.(RSS)
