RSP's Karki secures HoR seat from Sarlahi-1

Barahathawa (Sarlahi), March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Nitima Bhandari (Karki) been elected member of the House of Representatives from Sarlahi constituency no 1.     

According to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, Karki secured her victory with 44,181 votes. Her closest contender was Shambhu lal Shrestha of the Nepali Congress who got 7,817 votes.     

Likewise, Manoj Kumar Devkota of CPN (UML) finished third with 6,101 votes.     

Pramod Kumar Sah of Nepali Communist Party got 5,498 votes followed by 3,911 votes of the Janata Samajwadi Party's Ram Prakash Chaudhary.(RSS)
