Mahabir Pun elected to the HoR

By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Kathmandu, March 7: Independent candidate Dr. Mahabir Pun has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Myagdi.
According to the Chief election officer, Surya Bahadur Thapa, Pun got 22,850 votes. His closest competitor Hari Krishna Shrestha of CPN (UML) got 7,919. Karna Bahadur Bhandari of Nepali Congress got 6,673 votes, Arun Thapa of Nepali Communist Party got 3,530 votes
