Kathmandu, March 7: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)'s Vice Chairman and Coordinator of the Federal Election Mobilization Committee, D.P. Aryal, has urged candidates elected from RSP and party well-wishers not to immediately hold a victory rally.
In a video message on Friday, he said that although many people wish to celebrate, enjoy, share happiness and rally with the elected candidate, it is not the time to hold a victory procession.
Aryal has stated that the pain of losing the lives of so many youngsters in the Gen Z movement is fresh in our hearts and minds, and this time’s HoR election is due to their sacrifice. In this context and the recent development in West Asia, he urged the party's candidates winning the election and party well-wishers not to hold victory rallies immediately.
"We have been given a mandate by the people to form the government and work for the people, so after working for the people, we will visit the voters at their homes," he said in the video message.
Aryal requested the winning candidates to thank the well-wishers only at the vote counting centre. (RSS)
