President Paudel conducts worship at Pashupatinath

Kathmandu, Feb 15: President Ramchandra Paudel visited the Pashupatinath Temple and conducted worship there on the occasion of the Mahashivaratri festival on Sunday.

President Paudel reached the temple along with his spouse, Sabita Paudel, and conducted the Mahashivaratri prayer.

Main priest at the temple offered holy flowers and prasad to the Head of State on the occasion.

Also the Chairman of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Anil Kumar Sinha, ministry secretary, PADT office bearers, local level representatives, and high level officials of the Guthi Sansthan welcomed President Paudel in the temple premises.

The President, as the Head of State, conducts puja at Pashupatinath Temple on the Mahashivaratri day every year. (RSS)
