Two die in Rautahat road accident

Birgunj (Parsa), Feb 15: Two people died in a motorbike accident near the Jhanj bridge along the Gaur-Gangapipra road section in Durgabhagawati Rural Municipality-4, Rautahat this morning. 

According to Bishnu Pradip Basyal, information officer at Rautahat District Police Office, the critically injured died while undergoing treatment. The accident occurred when the motorbike went out of control. 

The police reported that the motorbike with registration number BR30U 1371 coming from Gangapipra to Gaur went out of control and crashed into a sisau tree. 

The deceased have been identified as motorbike rider Jitendra Sah and pillion rider Punam Devi Sah, 22, of Yamunamai Rural Municipality-4, Saruatha. 

Both were rushed to Gaur Provincial Hospital for treatment. 

According to the police, Jitendra Sah was brought to the hospital unconscious with severe injuries to his head, face, and various parts of body. 

Similarly, Punam Devi also had sustained injuries to her head, face, and various parts of her body. (RSS)
