By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 29: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has held discussions with the leaders of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) today.
In the discussion held at Baluwatar, the Prime
Minister’s official residence, RPP leaders including RPP chairman Rajendra
Lingden were present, according to the secretariat of the PM.
On the occasion, the PM highlighted that all sides
should come together in regard to national issues.
RPP Chair Lignden said that during the discussion the party highlighted that the Prime Minister should focus on solving the problem of the country all along with its attention on the election to be held on March 5.
PM Karki said, “We all sides should be one in regard
to national issues. We did a lot of debates and clashes and also suffered great
losses. Now is time to save the remaining. We need to seek implement our agenda
by getting elected by the people through the election. We need to be cautious
of possible instability.”
Many pending cases of corruption have been proceeded
ahead, and we will not sit idly on this issue as well, the PM said, according
to the secretariat.
Innocent children have been killed while walking on
road. On this regard, whatever the probe commission recommends will be
implemented. There will be no impunity, she said.
The PM said that the government was trying to curb
that attitude to spend a lot of money in election and urged the RPP leaders for
their contribution to an economic and fair election.
