PM Karki, Chair Thakur discuss election

Kathmandu, Nov 27: Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Chairperson of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal, Mahantha Thakur, held a meeting on Thursday.     

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Karki urged Chairperson Thakur to play a role in creating environment for election to the House of Representatives scheduled for coming March 5.     

On the occasion, Chairperson Thakur shared that they were ready for election and discussing on the issues of possible alliance with various political parties. "We are clear and we will take part in the election. Election is only a measure a political outlet," he opined.     

He also urged the government to speed up important projects that could play significant role in development of Tarai/Madhes.(RSS)
