Lumbini Lions sets 144-run target for Surdur Paschim

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 27: Lumbini Lions has set a 144-run target for Sudur Paschim Royals in a match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament, underway in Kirtipur.

Taking to bowling  first after losing the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground, Lumbini Lions made 143 runs in 19.4 overs for the loss of all wickets

Captain of Lumbini Lions Rohit Paudel made the highest runs, standing at 35 runs in 36 balls, hitting three fours. Likewise, Dilip Nath made 31 runs and D'Arcy Short and Sumit Maharjan scored 18 runs each, while Gulbadin Naib scored 11 runs.

In bowling, Sudurpaschim's Abinash Bohara and Harmeet Singh took three wickets each. Similarly, Hemant Dhami took two wickets and Scott Kuggeleijn took one wicket.
