11 students injured in Palpa bus accident

By Rekhi Ram Rana, Tansen, Nov 21: Eleven students sustained injuries when a bus met with an accident near Ranimahal in Palpa.

According to the District Police Office, Palpa, 11 students have been injured when a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 1089) carrying students from Dang to Ranimahal in Tansen-14, Palpa, crashed near Baikunthe Bhir on Friday morning.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Palpa, Hom Prakash Chaudhary, said that the bus lost control on a downhill road and crashed into a road wall.

He said that a major human tragedy was averted because the vehicle crashed into a road wall and stopped.

The injured are in a stable condition and are being treated at Mission Hospital in Tansen.

 Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
