Despite the presence of well-equipped universities, colleges and other educational institutions within the country, the number of students going abroad for studies is increasing instead of decreasing.
According to the details released by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Monday, the expenditure on education is slightly lower than last year.
In the first month of the current fiscal year, Rs 14.31 billion was spent on education, compared to Rs 14.96 billion in the same period in the last fiscal year.
