By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 30: The new release date of the film 'Soltini' has been announced by releasing five posters simultaneously.

Starring Prakash Saput and Pariksha Limbu, the film is set to release on October 26 on the day of Bhai Tika in Tihar

The executive producer of the film is Harka Sampang Revolution and Team, a group active in public accountability, led by Dharan Sub-metropolitan City Mayor Harka Sampang.

The film is directed by Arjun Subedi, featuring Prakash and Pariksha alongside Wilson Bikram Rai, Sabbu Gurung, Rabindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, Kabita Ale, Sundar Dhital, and Sujan Khatriwada, among others.

The four different posters hint that the story is based on love, culture, and rural life. One poster highlights the romantic chemistry of the lead pair. In another, actress Pariksha Limbu is seen adorned in traditional attire and jewellery.

A third poster shows the lead couple smiling while crossing a rural bridge, reflecting the natural beauty and simplicity of village life. The group poster, which includes other characters, suggests elements of folk culture, dance, and humour.

Director Subedi claimed that the film will connect audiences with a different flavour of storytelling. The movie raises a voice against inhuman practices and caste-based discrimination, while the love story between the two main characters remains its central attraction.

The film has been shot in the scenic locations of Ilam Bazaar, Biblayante, Kanyam, Birtamod, Pathari, and Bhojpur.

The songs of 'Soltini ' are composed by Prashant Siwakoti and Hercules Basnet, with cinematography by Susan Prajapati. The script is written by Arjun Subedi and Kumar Bhattarai while

Regina Bista and Sansar Chaulagain are the producers of the film.
