By Our Correspondent,Kaski, July 22: The scenic beauty of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western Sichuan Province, China, can now be viewed in Pokhara.
Known for its distinct natural landscapes and Tibetan culture, Ganzi features high-altitude valleys, snow-covered mountains, vast grasslands, and dense forests.
As part of the Ganzi Mountain Tourism Promotion Point initiative, photographs of Ganzi are being exhibited at the International Mountain Museum in Ratopaira, Pokhara. The exhibition, supported by Nepal National Pavilion (China), will continue for the next six months.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Manju Devi Gurung.
She said that such events help strengthen the relationship between Nepal and China.
Secretary of the Ganzi Prefecture Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chen Botao, invited Nepali people to visit Ganzi. “Like Nepal, Ganzi has also mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. You are welcome to visit,” he said.
