Kanchanpur, April 30 : CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has expressed his commitment to realize the dream of martyrs.
Dahal said the 'One Martyr, One
Employment Programme' would be launched today at the Martyrs' Family
Felicitation Programme.
Dahal has reached Matiyabasti of
Punarbas municipality for Maoist Tarai-Madhes awareness campaign with the
party's postal highway-centric people.
Chair Dahal, also the former Prime
Minister, said he and his party would remain committed to fulfilling their
responsibilities and duties towards the families of martyrs and enforced
disappeared combatants.
Pledging to follow the right path
shown by the martyrs, he said the party has placed the members of the martyr's
family in a high position.
The republican system of governance
has been established through the sacrifice of the people, Chairman Dahal said,
adding there cannot be another system of governance as an alternative to
republic.
On the occasion, he honoured the
family members of the martyrs with shawls. Meanwhile, Chair Dahal inaugurated
the Drinking Water Project at Rampur of Belauri Municipality.
Also today, Chair Dahal met the
members of the martyrs and disappeared persons' families on the Shovatal
premises in Punarbas Municipality-5.
During the meeting, he reiterated
his commitment not to waste the sacrifices of the martyrs and move ahead to the
path of justice, dignity and equality. (RSS)
