Janakpurdham, April 30: Various
employment generating programmes have been implemented for the uplift of
backward community of five local level in Dhanusha.
Plan International Nepal has
provided education, healthcare as well as skill-based training.
Bideh, Shahid, Kamala, Sabla
municipality and Janaknandani rural municipalities have spent Rs 49.878 million
on these programmes.
Programme Officer of the
organization, Bed Prasad Bhurtel told RSS that various programmes related to
education, health, entrepreneurship and employment have been in place targeting
the disabled, children, women, youth and unemployed.
The Plan has partnered with Aasman
Nepal, Community Family Welfare Association, Janaki Mahila Jagaran Samaj and
Support Nepal to run the programme at the local level where the project is
being run, he said. (RSS)
