One dies after being crushed by tree in Makawanpur

By Anil Parajuli, Hetauda, Apr.29: A person died after being crushed by a tree in Bagmati, Makawanpur.

Dil Kumar Limbu, aged 46, of Ilam Municipality-9, died after being crushed by a tree on Monday evening while cutting down trees under contract at the Surya Kiran Community Forest located in Deujor, Bagmati Rural Municipality-3.

Locals informed police of the incident.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Aryal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, police reached the spot at night, secured the spot and started further investigation.

A police team led by Police Inspector Bishwanath Sah from the District Police Office, Makawanpur, reached the spot on Tuesday to investigate and secure the incident site.
