Kathmandu, April 26: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said his party was putting all possible efforts to address the demands of agitating teachers.
Inaugurating the second conference of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Sindhupalchowk-Kathmandu Liaison and Coordination Committee here today, Chair Prachanda shared that he had exerted all-out efforts for the implementation of agreement with teachers when he was the Prime Minister.
Prachanda, also the former Prime Minister, spoke the essence to institutionalise the Constitution, federal democratic republic, inclusive and proportional system. "After we entered the peace process, the party had to face various factions and splits, but now the process of unity has resumed. I believe that the Maoist factions will have fundamentally achieved unity soon," he said.
Chair Prachanda also claimed that the campaign focused on the postal road initiated by his party has seen increasing attraction towards the Maoist party. He noted that this campaign will resume from tomorrow and will reach Kanchanpur.
He also mentioned that during the last time his party reached from Jhapa to Kapilvastu he had an opportunity to interact with millions of people.
On the occasion, the Vice Chair of the Maoist Center and former Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota said that there will be unity among political parties of the Maoist faction soon.(RSS)
