Brother-in law kills sister in law in Ilam

By Kokika Dhakal, Ilam, Apr.26: A brother-in-law has killed his sister-in-law by attacking her with a sharp weapon in Mai Municipality, Ilam District. Shanti Ram Dulal, aged 42, of Mai Municipality-4, murdered Bhumika Chapagain, aged 52, of the same place. 

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Man Bahadur Rai, Dulal had injured Chapagain by hitting her on the head with a weapon on Friday evening. 

Chapagain died in the course of treatment on Friday night. 

It is said that Dulal and his wife (Bhumika's sister) were fighting a case against Chapagain. 

Earlier, an argument was held between Dulal and Chapagain, in the court premises, in a court proceeding. 

Police have arrested Dulal, who was involved in the murder

 The incident is under investigation.
