By Kapil Gyawali, Siddharth Nagar, Apr.26: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has inaugurated the International Seminar on Nepal-China Buddhist Culture and Art in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, on Saturday.
PM Oli has inaugurated the International Seminar on Nepal-China Buddhist Culture and Art in Lumbini to be organized by the Lumbini Buddhist University today.
This is the fourth festival that has been organized in Lumbini to expand cultural relations between Nepal and China.
According to the University, the seminar will serve as a platform for scholarly dialogue on the preservation and innovation of Buddhist cultural heritage between Nepal and China. It is expected to explore the intersection of Buddhist art, literature, history, and cultural exchanges.
According to the organizers, representatives from 40 countries and more than 5,000 people will participate in the festival.
The international seminar will be held at Lumbini Buddhist University.
