Kathmandu, April 26: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former State Minister for Health Tirtharam Dangol passed away last night. He was 77.
A family source confirmed that
leader Dangol, who are receiving treatment for prostate cancer and kidney
related ailments, died at KMC Hospital based in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
During his political journey,
Dangol served as the treasurer and district committee president of the Nepali
Congress in Kathmandu, and also the deputy mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan
City.

Nepali Congress leader Bhimsen Das
Pradhan said the dead body of Dangol will be kept at the NC Central Office from
11:00 am to 1:00 pm to pay tribute and will be cremated at Teku Dovan this
