Dead body found in banks of Karnali River

By Prem Raj Simkhada, Kalikot, Mar. 26: Police said the body was recovered in an abandoned state on the banks of the Karnali River near the market at 8:55 AM on Wednesday.
Police Inspector Ram Prasad Pandey, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kalikot, said that upon receiving the news at the Lalukhulalu Police Post, a two-member team under the command of Police Constable Dammar Singh Nepali reached the spot and secured the incident site.
The location is about three kilometers north of the Lalukhulalu police station.
Investigations are underway to determine whether anyone from the market has been in contact with the person.
