Progressive forces should unite, former PM Khanal

Kathmandu, March 22: Senior leader of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has said that regressive forces have started becoming proactive due to some weaknesses on the part of the progressive forces.     

At a programme organized on Saturday by Socialist Press Organization in memory of the victims of Saurya Airlines plane crash, the former PM said regressive forces have raised fingers on the political achievements obtained from a long political struggle as the country could not well transform socially and economically.     

He called upon the progressive forces to unite to speed up the development efforts while preventing the regressive forces.     

Khanal viewed that social justice, equality and industrialization could be instrumental for better livelihood of the citizens and social transformation.(RSS)
