Bhojpur, March 21: The Pauwadung Rural Municipality in Bhojpur district has distributed agricultural input devices to 750 farmers in its attempt to make the rural municipality self-reliant on agriculture. The rural municipality distributed the devices worth Rs 5.1 million.

Pauwadung Rural Municipality, Nabin Bhattarai, said that the farmers were
provided with the inputs based on their demand. It is said that the devices
were provided in 50 per cent subsidy.

Bhattarai stated that mulching plastic, plastic tunnel, power tiller, plastic
pond, pesticide spray tools were handed over to the farmers.
He stated that the rural
municipality is planning to distribute agricultural goods worth Rs 7
million.
Vice Chairperson of Pauwadung Rural
Municipality, Jyotsna Rai, shared that a massive investment is made in
agriculture for economic sufficiency by producing commercial farmers.
"We have been encouraging
farmers to be business-oriented. We extended supports to the farers based on
