blog

By Bom Lal Giri, Nawalpur, Mar 10: It seems that all campuses in the Nawalpur district where the elections of Free Students' Union (FSU) going to be held on March 18 won't take place. The possibility of the elections not being held on the scheduled date has increased after student organizations padlocked campuses demanding various things.

Although student organizations have demanded that FSU elections be held in 10 campuses, only 9 campuses have made the election schedule public.

The elections in those campuses are scheduled to be held on March 18th.

However, Saugat Bhusal, district president of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), informed that all 10 campuses had been padlocked.

The election office at Madhyabindu Multiple Campus in Kawasoti has been padlocked by the Nepal Student Union, ANNFSU Revolutionary and ANNFSU for a week was opened by Nepal Student Union later but again padlocked by ANNFSU.

Along with this, ANNFSU has locked down all campuses of Nawalpur.
