Kathmandu, Feb 23: Famous Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali is set to perform in Nepal.
Ghazal singer Ali will perform at
the ‘Ghulam Ali :Three Generations on One Stage’ program at The Plaza in
Pulchowk, Lalitpur on March 15, shared the chair of the organizer, Sadhana Kala
Kendra, Milan Moktan.
Ghazal singer Ali will perform
along with his son Aamir Ghulam Ali and grandson Nazir Ghulam Ali. Ghazal
singer Ali is scheduled to arrive Kathmandu on March 4.
Musician Deepak Jangam expressed
his belief that Ghazal singer Ali’s program will boost Nepali ghazal singers.
"Just like the audience who wants to listen to him live, musicians also
dream working with him. That is why this program is equally important for the
musicians as well as the audience," he said.
Ghazal singer Ali has also sung
songs and ghazals in Nepali language including the very popular 'Gajalu Ti
Thula thula Aankha', 'Kina Kina Timro Tasbir, 'Lolaeka Ti Thula', 'Ke Chha Ra
Diun', and 'Nidharma'. (RSS)
