Today's weather: Partial influence of westerly low pressure system continues

Kathmandu, Feb 12: Currently the country has witnessed partial influence of the westerly low pressure system, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.  

 
As stated there will be partial cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the remaining areas will have fair weather.    
Some parts of the central and eastern Terai regions of the country are experiencing fog now.    

According to the division, there will be partial to generally cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Koshi province during the day.    

Additionally, there will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the remaining areas will have clear weather.    
There is a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.    

Similarly, there will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the remaining areas will have clear weather tonight. 

   
There is a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces in the next 24 hours.    

In view of possible foggy weather in some parts of the Terai on Thursday morning, the Division has urged one and all to remain alert towards the possible partial impacts on daily life, health, roads, and aviation. (RSS)
