NEA electrician dies after being electrocuted in electric pole

By Bomlal Giri, Nawalpur, Feb.7: A Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) electrician died due to electrocution during the maintenance of power lines in Gaindakot municipality of Nawalpur District. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaisi Shah said that 33-year-old Aryan Singh Thakuri, of Bheri Municipality of Jajarkot, died while repairing electricity after climbing an electric pole. 

Thakuri was electrocuted at 6.30 PM on Thursday while transferring the power line from the old pole to the new pole at  Kalika Chowk, Gaindakot municipality-5 of Nawalpur district. 

He died on the spot after being electrocuted on the pole abruptly. 

the dead body was brought to the ground from the pole with the help of the police.
