Bhojpur, Jan 15: A fair to promote Mundum trekking route has kicked off.
The cultural, tourism and
agriculture fair has begun to promote the trekking route, which is among the
100 must visit destinations announced by the government.
The fair hosted targeting the Visit
Nepal Year 2025 will continue till January 18.
Inaugurating the programme on
Tuesday, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bandri Prasad Pandey
said the country's language, culture and culture could be developed into an
open cultural museum.
He said thousands of people could
be provided with self-employment opportunities in the coming days through
tourism.
The festival is being held at
Chakhewa Bhanjyang, a tourist spot in Temkemaiung rural municipality-4 along
the Mundum trekking route.
According to the organizer Chakhewa
Market and Urbanization Management Committee, the festival has been focused on
promoting local delicacies and special woven rug. (RSS)
