By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 17: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that all levels of governments should serve people with a true sense of responsibility.
Speaking at the ceremony organized to mark the 106th
establishment day of Lalitpur Metropolis, PM Oli appreciated city police of the
metropolis as being synonymous of savior rather than terror and viewed that
people's representatives and government employees.
"We are the servants of the people. We should give up the attitude that we are rulers and boss. No pride should make a house within us. We should neither give tension nor take it. We have to move forward fast in the past of prosperous Nepal with good governance while upholding national unity and respecting ethnic diversity," PM Oli said.
The Prime Minister observed that there has been tremendous development
in infrastructure development after the change in the political system and that
the government has presented itself as the guardian for the poor and
downtrodden, according to the secretariat of the PM.
He urged all not to be swayed by rumours that condition did not change
despite transformation in system.
