Rabi Lamichhane remanded in custody for four more days

By Phanindra Adhikari, Kathmandu, Dec 17: The Kaski District Court on Tuesday remanded Rashtriya Swatantra Party  (RSP) Chairperson and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in custody for four more days for further investigation on charges of cooperative fund embezzlement and organised crime.

A bench of Justice Him Lal Belbase remanded Lamichhane, Nature Hurb's operator Ram Bahadur Khanal, Gorkha Media's former vice chair Chhabilal Joshi, GB and Group's staff Geeta Pachhai and former operator of cooperatives Krishna Gurung for four days. 

It is the eighth time that the court has permitted the police to keep Lamichhane in custody.

Police on Monday submitted a report regarding the investigation of the cooperative fund embezzlement and organised crime to District Government Attorney Office Kaski.
