Rawat re-elected FNJ president of Humla

By Our Correspondent,Humla, Dec. 13: Journalist Rajan Rawat has been unanimously re-elected as the President of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Humla. 

Rawat's entire team was also elected unopposed after his rival, Narjan Tamang, withdrew his candidacy on Thursday.

Rawat, who has served as the President of the FNJ 

Humla District Working Committee, will begin his second term in office.

Similarly, Suresh Pariyar has been elected as vice-president (open), Chhapal Lama as vice-president (inclusive), Nanda Singh as secretary, Padam Raj Hamal as joint secretary (open), Bhakta Raj Aidi as joint secretary (inclusive) and Mandir Singh as treasurer.

Additionally, Dhan Bahadur Bhandari, Ratan Rawat, Mohan Singh Budha, Laksh Kami, Log Bhandari, Ovaraj Shahi, Ratna Bhandari, and Avinash Lama were elected as members of the working committee.

Central representatives Nawaraj Mahatara and Nirparaj Hamal, along with state representative Motilal Mahatara, were also elected unanimously. Voting for the provincial and central working committees will take place on Friday.
