By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 12: Kathmandu Gurkhas posted a target of 102 runs against Janakpur Bolts in the 21st match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
After winning a toss Kathmandu chose batting first where it succeeded in managing a total of 101 runs before being all out in the 19.3 overs.
Kathmandu's batsmen Gerhard Erasmus scored 20 runs, Karan KC 19, Stephen Eskinazi 17 runs, Michael Levitt and Shahab Alam scored 8 runs each, Rashid Khan 7, Pratik Shrestha 6 and Dan Douthwaite scored one run.
To limit Kathmandu in a little total Biratnagar's Lalit Rajbanshi and Sher Malla took 3 wickets each. Mohammad Mohsin took two wickets whereas Kishore Mahato and Arniko Yadav took a single wicket each.
