By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec.11: Sudurpaschim Royals gave a target of 124 runs for Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League (RSS) on Wednesday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Janakpur Bolts won the toss and elected to bowl first, restricting Sudurpaschim to 123 at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Openers Binod Bhandari made 33 runs while Saif Zaib made 21 runs. Likewise, Ishan Pandey made 17 runs, and Brandon McMullen made 11 runs. Other players of Sudurpaschim were unable to get to double-figure runs.
Janakpur's Kishore Mahato rook four wickets and bowelled four complete overs. Likewise, Sher Malla and Arniko Yadav took two wickets each, and Harsh Thaker took a wicket.
Kishore Mahato of Janakpur took four wickets in bowling to stop Sudoor cheaply. He bowled four complete overs while taking the wicket and spent 35 runs. Similarly, Ser Malla and Araniko Yadav took two wickets each. Harsh Thakar took one wicket.
Janakpur Bolts and Sudurpaschim stand first and second in the ongoing NPL. Janakpur Bolts have remained undefeated in the previous four matches while Sudurpaschim lost one in the win of three matches standing the team in the second team in NPL.
