Belauri, Dec.10: A Purple Swamphen, locally known as Kurma Chara, was photographed at Puraini Lake in Belauri Municipality–6. The local inhabitant species of bird lives in wetland areas, however, its number has been slimming owing to the shrinking wetland area.
