By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 5: Janakpur Bolts registered its third consecutive victory defeating Pokhara Avengers in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Earlier, batting first Pokhara posted a target of 139 with a loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
In response, Janakpur achieved the target in just 17.1 overs with a loss of 3 wickets scoring 143 runs.
To make their team unbeatable Janakpur's batsmen Lahiru Milantha scored 45 runs, James Neesham 40, Aasif Sheikh scored 33, Harsh Thaker 13 and captain Anil Sah scored one run.
Pokhara's bowlers Kushal Bhurtel, Bipin Khatri and Michael Leask took one wicket each.
In the first inning, Pokhara scored 138 runs with the help of Marcus Critchley's 35 runs, Michael Leask's 25, Andries Gous's 20, Raymon Reifer's 17, Dilip Nath's 11, Dinesh Kharel 10, Kushal Bhurtel 6, Narayan Joshi 5 and Bipin Khatri's one run.
To minimize Pokhara within 138 runs janakpur's bowlers Lalit Rajbanshi took 3 wickets, James Neesham took 2 wickets, and Kishore Mahato and Mohammad Mohsin took a single wicket each.
