Maoist Centre's Ghimire wins Belaka-9, Udayapur

By Bhakti Bilas Pokhrel, Gaighat, Dec.3: Bharat Ghimire of CPN (Maoist Center) has won the by-election held on December 1 that was held for the post of the ward chair of Belaka Municipality-9 Udayapur District.
According to Chief Electoral Officer of Udayapur Deepak Kumar Kharel, Ghimire secured 559 votes against his nearest competitor of CPN (UML)'s candidate Mohan Khadka who secured 525 votes.
