Gaighat, Dec 3: The CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Bharat Ghimire has won the election, securing the post of chair at ward no 9 in Belaka municipality, Udayapur.
Ghimire achieved 559 votes, while
his nearest rival Mohan Khadka from CPN UML collected 525 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress' Nabaraj
Basnet secured 404 votes, according to information officer at the office
election officer, Suresh Pokharel.
Out of total 3,147 voters in the
list, the voters' turnout was 1,887.
Similarly, Maoist Centre's Nawin
Bantawa Rai has been elected chair of ward no 12 at Triyuga municipality.
In both of these wards, NC had the
