NC Limbu wins Laligurans-8 of Terhathum
By Thakur Senehang,Terhathum,Dec.2: Nagendra Limbu of Nepali Congress has won the by-election held on December 1 for the post of ward chair of Laligurans Municipality-8 Terhathum District.
Nagendra has defected His nearest rival, Buddha Bahadur Limbu of CPN (UML) by 80 votes.
Nagendra of NC secured 440 votes while Buddha Bahadur Limbu of CPN (UML) got 360 votes. Meanwhile, Sanjeev Khadka of Rastriya Swantatra Party secured 38 votes.
