Awareness necessary to control HIV/AIDS: Health Minister Paudel

Kathmandu, Dec 1: Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel has said that awareness campaign is necessary for HIV/AIDS control.
He was speaking at the publicizing programme of the 'Human Rights Situation Study Report 2081 BS of HIV-AIDS-infected Citizens' organized by the National Human Rights Commission on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
Minister Paudel emphasized that everyone should be aware that the infection is happening and the infected are being discriminated against due to the lack of awareness. He said that the Ministry of Health is always ready to help on initiatives taken to control and prevent HIV/AIDS.(RSS)
