NPL: Biratnagar set 128-run targets to Janakpur

By Pramod Kumar Tandan, Kathmandu, Nov 30: Biratnagar Kings has set a target of 128 runs to Janakpur Bolts in the inauguration match of Nepal Premier League in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Batting first Birantnagar Kings scored just 127 runs before being all out in 19 overs. 

Kings's Martin Guptill hit a half century and scored 55 runs in 43 balls. Other batsmen except Aqib Ilyas failed to hit runs in double digits.

Ilyas hit 15 runs whereas Nicholas Kirton scored 9, Basir Ahamad, Anil Kharel and Captain Sandeep Lamichhane scored 7 runs each.

Similarly, Chris Sole scored 4 runs, Pratis GC scored 2 runs and Rajesh Pulami scored 1 run. 

From Janakpur Bolts' side, Lalit Rajbanshi took 3 wickets, Harsh Thaker and Kishore Mahato took 2 wickets each, and Mohammad Mohsin and Ben Mike took a single wicket each.
